Aix-Phila
Aachen (AIX-LA-CHAPELLE), Charlemagne's city in the centre of Europe, is the location of Aix-Phila Auctioneers and Traders, which was founded in 1987 and has been registered in the General Register of Companies as AIX-PHILA BRIEFMARKEN GmbH since 1992.
AIX-PHILA auctions have developed rapidly to become an integral part of philatelic life, making a name for themselves not only locally but also amongst collectors throughout Europe and overseas. The auctions attract considerable attention in the specialist press and are attended by collectors and dealers as well as by investors and, last but not least, by well-known philatelic commission agents.
In addition to expert advice in all areas of philately and numismatics, the correct, discreet and smooth handling of all business transactions forms the basis of company policy.
As a result of the company’s growing reputation, its excellent service and its regular presence in the specialist press as well as at large German and international stamp fairs, the number of active AIX-PHILA customers has risen to more than 18,000 worldwide since the company’s foundation.
